Bachman Family Farms is THE place to source local, grass-fed, grass-finished beef. I say local, but I believe they ship nationwide + if we ever move, we will be doing just that. See, grass-fed/finished beef with zero antibiotics/hormones is extremely important to me, BUT NOT to my husband. He actually hates it because he thinks it tastes watered down/lacks flavor. Bachman Family Farms beef, however, is the first of its kind that my husband FULLY approves and I think it’s because they dry age their beef and rotate their cattle through several different kinds of grass. It’s the care you get with a small operation that you lose out on in big box stores. So, 5 stars for this husband-approved family farm!

Even after being shipped to Houston, TX the tomahawk ribeyes were so delicious. I’ve never experienced this before, but even when I opened the package, the raw steaks smelled really tasty.

We had bought 1/4 beef (the Benjamin) from Bachman Family Farms. Not only is Amy (and family) super, but this has been the best beef we have ever had. That is a long time, as we are in our 70's & 60''s! The meat is tender and tastes great. But what is also very special in this day and age, the service and care provided by The Bachman Family has been outstanding. They really care about the product and mostly about the customer. When we are ready to order up more beef, there will be no hesitation about where to buy it from - Bachman Family Farms. Kudos to your family.
